Belief Statement

There are three core beliefs we have at THE CORE V.I.P. These beliefs are the reason we do what we do:

• First, we believe that there is a Higher Power greater than ourselves that we are accountable to for our choices. We are dependent upon this Higher Power for help to change.
• Second, we believe that we do not change people; people create personal change through inspiration, education, loving relationships, and the pursuit purposeful lives. Further, people who rediscover their inner greatness realize positive growth and personal change.
• Third, we believe that we as human beings will only find true, lasting happiness (as opposed to fleeting moments of pleasure) when we obey basic principles of life.

THE CORE V.I.P. Program is a unique, self-paced journey of guided discovery. It is derived from our core conviction that we all have inner greatness. In Tibet, strangers greet each other by bringing their palms together in front of their chest and saying, “Tashi deley.” It is usually translated into English as “Hello,” but literally means, “I honor the greatness in you.” As Tibetans say this, they are honoring the place in every person where courage, love, hope, honor, and dreams live. Each of us, whether military, civilian, parent or child has this special place within. This is the place where strength and ability lay waiting to be discovered, applied and expressed.
